Job Summary :

Camillo Companies is actively seeking a Data Analyst. The Data Analyst I will provide management with data analysis that can be used in decision making and improvement initiatives.

This role will report directly to the Director of Business Intelligence. The ideal candidate will work with leadership and other technology team members to build and maintain data solutions and reporting frameworks to support the business operations and projects.

Duties Responsibilities :

  • Data Collection and Analysis : Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Data Visualization : Create visually compelling reports, charts, and dashboards to present data-driven insights to stakeholders.
  • Statistical Analysis : Apply statistical methods to assess the impact of data findings and validate hypotheses.
  • Data Mining : Identify opportunities for data mining and predictive modeling to improve business processes and outcomes.
  • Performance Monitoring : Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to track the progress of various projects and initiatives.
  • Data Quality Assurance : Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity across various databases.
  • Data Integration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from multiple systems.
  • Recommendations : Provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis : Conduct ad-hoc analyses to address specific business questions or challenges as they arise.
  • Documentation : Maintain thorough documentation of data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills and proficient in English. Must be able to articulate needs and convey information verbally and in writing effectively with employees, customers, supervisors, and co-workers throughout the organization.
  • Knowledge of management methods and sound employee relations techniques with an ability to connect to staff, troubleshoot problems and help teams collaborate, as necessary.

  • Analytical Skills : Proficiency in analyzing complex datasets and drawing actionable insights.
  • Data Visualization : Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
  • Statistical Proficiency : Basic understanding of statistical methods and tools for hypothesis testing and modeling.
  • Programming Skills : Basic proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Databases : Proficiency in SQL for data retrieval and manipulation in relational databases.
  • Data Management : Experience with data cleaning, transformation, and integration using Cloud technologies such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform or AWS.
  • Critical Thinking : Ability to think critically and solve complex problems with a data-driven approach.
  • Attention to Detail : Exceptional attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaboration : Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Time Management : Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Business Acumen : Understanding of business processes and the ability to align data analysis with organizational goals.

Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant subject
  • 2 years of relevant experience
