Substitute : Middle School, Grades 5-8

La Jolla Country Day School is seeking qualified substitute teachers for the 2025-2026 academic year. Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in a related field, and should have prior teaching experience.

Substitutes who possess the following will be given preference :

• Specific expertise in areas of child development and classroom management / organization
• The availability to accept assignments when scheduled several days in advance, and / or sometimes at the last minute due to illness
• Reliable contact information and responsiveness

All school personnel must successfully complete a fingerprint background check through Live Scan and provide current tuberculosis clearance.
