Job description Join our Early Childhood Community! Carter Center For Children, is a full year, non-profit community based childcare center.
We are proudly moving into our 43rd year of serving families in Needham. We are currently seeking 2 qualified / certified teachers to teach, nurture and play in our toddler and preschool classrooms.
You will have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated and experienced co-teachers. Everyday you will have the opportunity to fulfill your vocation of working with young children.
Our children are diverse, joyful and active learners. We are a play-based center with an emphasis on supporting children in their social-emotional development.
Our goal is to prepare and guide them in social and cognitive endeavors in the present with a pathway towards their future.
Key Responsibilities : *Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum. *Recognize and support children's individuality and temperament.
- Observe all rules and regulations pertaining to the health, safety and care of children. *Collaborate with team members on maintaining a well-kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration and decision making by children.
- Observation and assessment of children. *Adhere and maintain EEC regulations. Looking for candidates who are and have the following skills : *Passion, creativity and dedication for teaching young children.
- Strong communication and collaboration for working as a team *Flexibility and able to adapt to change. *Supportive and empathetic towards children and families.
Qualifications : BA / Associates in Early Childhood Education or related field EEC Lead Teacher certification CPR and First Aid certified Job Type : Full-time Pay : $22.
