Responsibilities
We are currently looking for a Recruiter to join our team, focusing on forging partnerships with local agencies and exploring alternative career paths within the field.
In this position, you will play a key role in expanding our business by establishing and nurturing relationships within the industry.
We need a dynamic recruiter with a passion for networking and the ability to creatively engage with healthcare professionals from EMS (Emergency Medical Services) programs and industry-related events.
This role will be based in the Central Coast region of California and the ideal candidate will be located within 50 miles of Monterey.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / DUTIES
- Recruiter will facilitate internal career pathways between ground and air transportation units.
- Recruiter will foster positive relationships with local fire agencies.
- Collaborate with leaders to assess staffing needs and develop appropriate staffing models.
- Recruiter will collaborate with partners to develop effective pathways between organizations.
- Cultivate relationships with schools and feeder organizations to support community relations and attract applicants.
- Recruiter will advertise open positions through social media and marketing channels.
- Demonstrate strong motivation, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Travel approximately 75% schools & industry related job fairs and events.
QUALIFICATIONS
- HS Diploma or GED.
- BA in Human Resources or Equivalent work-related experience (preferred).
- Two years' experience in recruitment / selection and related employment law practices (preferred).
- Excellent knowledge of the healthcare sector (EMS preferred).
- Current EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) or Paramedic experience (preferred).
- Social media / Marketing experience (preferred).
- Possess a valid State Driver’s License and driving record in compliance with AMR (American Medical Response) Safety & Driving policy.
