FPC of Hendersonville is partnering with a well-established, rapidly expanding company with over 70 years of expertise in industrial solutions to recruit a driven Project Manager.
This role is pivotal in leading diverse projects from start to finish, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, manufacturers, and clients.
We are particularly interested in candidates with an Automation or Electrical Engineering background in industrial equipment who are eager to pursue PMP certification.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, providing regular milestone reports.
- Oversee project costs and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure budget adherence.
- Lead weekly project review meetings to track progress and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Sales to clearly document project scope and layout.
- Ensure Finance receives accurate bill of materials and manages system information.
- Review and approve acknowledgements for all project documentation.
- Coordinate procurement of materials with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance teams.
- Review contract documents and manage special items, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Facilitate changes and adjustments with relevant departments, ensuring effective communication.
- Manage project approval submittals, obtaining necessary customer approvals before work commences.
- Participate in on-site project meetings, as necessary, to ensure project alignment.
- Maintain professionalism, tact, and discretion in all communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Engineering, Finance, and Director of Projects teams.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the building and construction industry.
- PMP certification (or the ability to obtain within 3 months of hire).
- Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of construction project management tools and software.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of time.
- US Citizenship or Green Card Holder required.
