Position Summary
Courier position is responsible for the effective transportation of company materials, individuals, and other items as required.
In addition to transports, the courier is responsible for assisting in the upkeep of the company offices and facilitation of company events.
Responsibilities
- Performs deliveries and pick-ups for the office by vehicle or foot.
- Help to maintain the overall cleanliness, order, and organization of the office space; clean and maintain the office, kitchen, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Liaison for building management and outside vendors to arrange for repairs and maintenance relative to office furnishings, fixtures, equipment, and space
- Fleet vehicle maintenance and service
- Help with coordination of workstation moves and other space adjustments to meet business needs
- Meeting room set-up and take-down
- Help set up catered meals for meetings as needed
- Place inventory orders for beverages and general office supplies
- Making sure that all copy rooms are filled with paper and other work supplies
- Data input and filing of company paperwork at offsite storage
- May assist with greeting visitors and directing them to specific meetings
- Help with general administrative tasks for office as needed
- Handle all incoming and outgoing mail
- Assists our VIP’s and executives with personal tasks in a professional and discreet manner
- Fix minor issues within the office
- Transportation service for important guests, VIP’s, and executives
- Seldom but potential overnight travel
- Frequent day trips to Baltimore, Harrisburg, and Southern New Jersey
- Package and mail items from company store
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Previous Administrative Experience
- H.S. Diploma or Associate’s Degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
