About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Med Surg Telemetry Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 19 : 00-07 : 30 Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Experience : Minimum of 2+ years License : RN License Certifications : BLS & NIH Must-Have : Great Med Surg experience;
5 : 1 patient ratio Job Description : Work on a mixed acuity unit specializing in Ortho and Med Surg.- Care for patients with varying levels of medical conditions.
- Utilize telemetry monitoring equipment to assess patient vitals.- Maintain accurate records through the Cerner EMR system.
- Provide quality care while maintaining a 5 : 1 or 6 : 1 patient ratio during night shifts.- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team to improve patient outcomes.
- Exhibit strong communication skills and a good personality fit for team dynamics.- Adhere to dress code : Galaxy Blue scrubs or Galaxy Blue top and Black pants.
- No call requirements or float requirements outside the mixed acuity unit.Note : This position is to replace a contractor, ensuring continuity of care and support within the team.
