Certification Details
- BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
- Traveler must provide or pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia / Dysrhythmia Assessment (BCA) exam prior to or during the first week of assignment.
- Travelers that do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed.
Job Details
- 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS - Please only submit candidates that are aware of their submission to our facility.
- Please only submit candidates with an active NM or compact license.
- Time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.
- When submitting candidates include a resume and completed skills checklist / competency assessment.
- Traveler must not permanently reside within a 75 mile radius from the facility.
- 13 weeks assignment, 2 years experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry / progressive care unit required.
- Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast-paced environment.
- Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
Job Requirements
- Active NM or compact license required.
- 2 years experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry / progressive care unit.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- EPIC EMR experience preferred.
Schedule Information
- 12 hour Day shift position - start time 0700.
- 3 Weekend shifts in a 4 week scheduling period.
- Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
- On-call, weekends and holidays may be required.
- Travelers are first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location and to all areas in which they are trained.

- Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
- State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
