ISP Field Service Technician Ripple Fiber
We are looking for ISP Field Service Technicians to join our growing team in Lexington, SC.

About the role
The ISP (Inside Plant) Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Ripple Fiber equipment in accordance with customer requirements, and company standards.
ISP Field Service Technicians are also responsible for ensuring that customers receive the highest level of customer service.
Responsibilities :
- Managing all last mile (Drop and in home and business networks) and the Access and in home and or business equipment.
- Fault Finding to resolve complaints.
- Create and maintain network documentation.
- Using monitoring network performance tools to troubleshoot problem areas.
- Assist with escalations (2nd Line support) to resolve end user issues.
- Configuring maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing Broadband services such as Wi-Fi Routers and smart home devices
- Routing of a Fiber Optic drop cable from a termination box to a router’s location.
- In-Home and business network to connect clients.
- Assist clients in connecting their home devices to the Ripple Fiber network
Skills Required & Physical Demands :
- Must have a valid state driver’s license and safe driving record
- Ability to operate hand tools and handheld mobile devices
- Experience working in customer service, construction, electrical, technical or related field is a plus
- Clean driving record
- Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Lift and move up-to 60 lbs some of our ladders weigh 50-60 lbs
- At times work in small spaces or a loft (up to 28 ft.)
- Identify wire and cable colors
- Qualify on pre-employment assessments
- Be available for overtime, emergency call outs and holiday work
- Weigh less than 275 lbs., required for ladder safety
