Job ID 27943966Experience Required : -2 years as an RN-1 year in the Med-Surg / Telemetry specialtyCertifications Required : -BLS (required)-ACLS (preferred)License : Active Arizona or Compact license required upon submission-EMR System : EPIC experience is required and must be listed correctly on the resume.
Patient & Unit Information : -Nurse-Patient Ratios : Days : 1 : 5-6Nights : 1 : 6Unit Details : -90 beds, double occupancy-Common diagnoses : Pneumonia, COPD, AKI, radiation patients, etc.
No titration of drips required except for Heparin & LasixSupport Staff : -Charge Nurse : Sometimes free, but may take assignments-Patient Care Techs : 8-12 patients per tech-Monitor Techs available, no need for travelers to read telemetryOther Details : -Scheduling : -Every other weekend required-Holiday Requirement : 2 out of 3 holidays-Call / Standby : Low Census On Call-Floating Requirements : To Med-Surg, stable ICU patients, and Foothills Clinic RDU-Scrub Color : Navy Blue-Orientation : One day each for NEO, clinical education / EPIC training, and unit orientation
