At Houston Methodist the Nurse PractitionerAC PRN position is responsible for functioning as a licensedregistered nurse and care provider to provide all aspects ofpatient care including diagnosis treatment and consultation whilemaintaining and promoting the health of the patient.
This positionmay work in both inpatient and outpatient situations and performsaccording to the nurse practice act of the State of Texas and aspart of a treatment team.
Role models compassionate communicationwith patients physicians and the interprofessional health careteam. The NPAC PRN position provides education to patients aboutpreventative care and prescribed treatments.
This position may alsoconduct physicals order tests and serve as a patients healthcareprovider prescribing medications as appropriate.

WORKEXPERIENCE
Two years ofRegistered Nurse advanced practice or nurse practitioner clinicalexperience.
