Unit Paid Faculty teach additional courses on an as needed basis
The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia invites applicants for one or more part-time, faculty wage Finance faculty positions beginning in August 2024.
The position will teach one or more sections (1.5 credit hours each) of CGBM 2710 : Making Financial Decisions. Courses will be taught at either 8 : 00 a.m. or 5 : 00 p.m.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A master's degree in Business or a closely-related field is required; a Ph.D. in a relevant field is preferred.
- Industry or educational experience in the Finance field is required; previous experience teaching finance in a higher education setting is preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal and collaborative team skills and the desire to work in a dynamic environment that stresses teamwork, innovation, and student-centered learning.
