The firm specializes in deepmarket insights and extensive personal relationships across theenterprise software cybersecurity internet of things (IoT)industrial tech artificial intelligence sports marketing tech anddigital mediasectors.
Whatyou will be doing :
- Createand implement effective fullcycle sales strategies to meet orexceed revenue targets.
- Identify andpursue opportunities for growth and expansion including new marketsproducts or services.
- Develop andexecute longterm strategic sales plans including setting measurablegoals and objectives.
- Identify areasfor improvement within the sales process and implement bestpractices to enhance efficiency andeffectiveness.
- Develop salesforecasts and regularly report on sales performance to seniorleadership leveraging insights to guide strategicdecisions.
- Identify and generateleads engage and pitch prospects develop tailored proposalsnegotiate terms finalize contracts and maintain ongoingrelationships with clients.
- Lead thecreation of compelling sales materials including email copy pitchdecks digital marketing customized proposals and other marketingand sales assets.
- Leverage our CRMand other sales technology & tools to effectively trackprogress measure results manage relationships and optimizeprocesses.
- Oversee an AccountExecutive to manage and report on the sales pipeline ensuring theteam effectively tracks leads opportunities andconversions.
- Collaborate with ourfull events team postsale to ensure sponsorships are executedseamlessly and to inform renewalstrategies.
- Maintain and growrelationships with new and existing clients ensuring high customersatisfaction increased annual spend and yearoveryear renewals andgrowth.
- Build relationships withprospective and existing clients through personal facetofaceengagement andnetworking.
- Contribute as a keymember of the Events Practice Leadership Team to ensure alignmentof sales strategy / execution with eventproducts / inventory / operations.
- Addresslarge audiences lead engaging roundtable discussions and serve asthe event host or emcee ensuring a professional and memorableexperience.
Experienceyou will need :
- 810 yearsof direct or related experience in sales business development andmarketing preferably in the eventsindustry.
- Proven track record ofmeeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth withexperience in sponsorship sales (orsimilar).
- Excellent communicationwriting editing and presentation skills with the ability to clearlyorganize and convey key messages and multiplepriorities.
- High emotionalintelligence with the ability to pick up on nuances of clientinteraction andcommunications.
- Strong timemanagement and ability tomultitask.
- Comfortable in a dynamicenvironment dealing calmly and effectively with situations underdeadlines.
- Critical thinkingstrategic consulting and conceptualization skills and capable ofconnecting the dots from one area of the business toanother.
- Strong leadership skillswith some experience managing and developing a salesteam.
- Capable in both MicrosoftOffice Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (SheetsDocs) and intermediate experience with a CRM database (ideallySalesforce) including campaign planning and tracking reportmanagement and forecasting.
- If notexperienced in these particular systems or a specific database thencandidates should have a strong background in Excel or datamanagement or mathematics orsimilar.
- Comfort spending time onemail on the phone on Zoom and inperson every day to collaboratewith colleagues and clients.
- Abilityto travel asneeded.
