Is this a new position? I thought we had one.
But the Engineer and the head of the Water Dept. still have jobs? WOW!
Village Manager will be wearing another hat with an assistant. I believe
That would be funny because he was seen in the company of the Three Amigos during there election campaign. I believe he was at Gynn house at one of her parties.
yes bring back jim tenhove. the old mayor got rid of him. and we got rid of the old mayor because he did zipo. and yes is this a new job opining for some one , what the hell is going on in village hall.
is some one going. the last two people got jobs from the new village manager. hummmmm. my god we have a lot of workers sleeping in the same bed.
lets talk about the coins. the talk on the street is he took close to a mill, and the mayor and council are trying to keep in under the rug.
boy o boy shit is coming out bit by bit.
How many jobs does he have left now? Three?
Go to bed Dom. Sucking up to these people has clouded you mind.
9 Your analogy is crude but right on the mark. The sh t is coming out bit by bit. This is a real case of massive constipation that is finally letting loose, bit by bit.
I hope that the Mayor and his cronies get some of the well-deserved sh t in their faces.
8 you must be one of Jimmy Tenhove boys if you want he back. What are one of his drinking buddies or did you play golf with him while you were being paid by the Village ?
Yes bring Tenhove back. Let the good times roll. Drink for everyone.
Yes #8 and we had a lot of workers in bed Jmmy Tenhove. I bet you knew few.
People forget the the coin boy was Tenhove’s ace man. How do you think that coin boy got all the keys to village Hall.
So on day #1 of the parking authority a giant sucking sound appears. How much will this position cost? (including benefits)
I hear Tommy Rica is looking for work to pay back his debts to society .

Looks to me like they have someone in mind. There are probably dozens of people in town who could do this job standing on their heads (I’m one of them) but won’t meet that criteria.
And missing from the criteria is must be a Ridgewood resident . We don’t need another certified CMFO mercenary who bounces from town to town every couple years.

I thought exactly the same thing.
For Christ’s sake, the job is mostly about managing the physical collection of coins from meters and making sure they get to the bank without some of it disappearing in the meantime.
I suspect that this is a job already lined up for someone with a good connection. I keep hearing the argument that putting in modern meters will be cost-prohibitive.
Nonsense. Any costs involved in upgrading the meters will be completely overshadowed in 2-3 years of compensation for this unnecessary position.
WTF? a changing paradigm. So I googled it. Changing Paradigms
from being taught to learning on your own with guidance
I was think the same thing #22. did they use that phrase when they hired our VM.
And another thing, most 12 year olds can collect, count and roll quarters. Which could be easily deposited into the bank. Why hire a CFO?
Add to job requirements : Must be willing to be paid in quarters. Bags provided.
Hire a parking cfo to audition to replace the current staff which is of retirement age, then just change their title when retirements occur.
Although this sounds convoluted it could prove beneficial in the future
all of this goes away with smart parking meters which makes me wonder, how far does this whole Ridgewood parking scam go and just how profitable is it ?
