JOB SUMMARY
Leading by example in the ultimate professional guest service by providing a warm welcoming inviting atmosphere and for cashiers for correctly handling cash, credit and comp procedures and properly completing paperwork.
Greet guests with a personal Family Style upbeat energetic attitude.
ESSENTIAL DUITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May include, but is not limited to the following)
- Utilize proper procedures and documentation for transactions.
- Ensure bank is counted and balanced with cage.
- Complete cash turn-in sheets, etc., and distribute accordingly.
- Lead by example in delivering Family Style Service.
- Greet and assist guests in an upbeat energetic, professional manner.
- Train new team members in Cashiering according to standards.
- Works with coworkers as a team player.
- Maintain cashier area and cleanliness of restaurant.
- Maintain par levels.
- Follow directions from Manager at all times.
- Maintain professional clean proper uniform, ID badge and nametag at all times where a smile is part of your uniform.
- Maintain regular, predictable attendance.
- Other job related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and guests. Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Ability to understand the concept of cash handling, making change and counting it back to the guest.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior cash register and cash handling experience preferred but will train.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT (May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position)
- Work is performed in an area, which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy and smoky, may encounter slippery surfaces
- Work may be performed in small areas having a 2-ft. access
- Work entails use of solvents / oils and chemicals
- Requires the use of electrical equipment, such as coffee machines, microwaves and blenders, mechanical devices, flame / heat-generated devices and computer equipment
- Constant contact with staff and guests
GUEST SERVICE (INTERNAL / EXTERNAL) STANDARDS : Employee is required to meet and deliver our core values, service standards, and family style service.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS : Must have the ability to provide internal / external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests.
Above average speech both speaking and reading / writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
