As a Senior Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Connected Commerce Dining Technology , you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications and platforms products.

You drive significant business impact and help shape the target state architecture through your capabilities in multiple architecture domains.

Job responsibilities

• Represents a product family of technical governance bodies
• Provides feedback and proposes improvements to architecture governance practices
• Guides evaluation of current technology and leads evaluation of new technologies using existing standards and frameworks
• Partners / Collaborates with application development teams to ensure efficient, secure, scalable, stable design and code
• Provides technical guidance and direction to drive decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
• Defines the technical target state of their product and drives achievement of the strategy
• Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
• Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced in one or more programming language(s) like Java, Python, applications, and architecture concepts like Domain Driven Design
• Advanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.

g. cloud, microservices, web, mobile, data & analytics)

• Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact with all technical and non-technical members of the organization.
• Practical cloud native experience
• Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience in visualizing architecture using the C4 model is preferred
• AWS Experience and / or Certification preferred
• Mobile Native Design, Build and / or Architecture experience is preferred iOS and Android
• Experience in UI / UX Development and / or Architecture Frontend Design, ReactJS, Octagon Framework, AngularJS
