PM Line Cook
Brimmer & Heeltap's restaurant and bar is hiring a cook for 3 nights / week (must be available to work weekends). You must be punctual, self-motivated, dependable and love making excellent food.
The kitchen is open to view by our guests, our ingredients are locally sourced, and the menu is creative, unpretentious and thoughtful.
We are a busy and efficiently fast-paced environment, so being able to multi-task is really important. We pride ourselves in attention to detail and also grace under the occasional pressure;
we will be looking for that in you, too.
What we look for you to bring :
- Minimum 4 years in a busy kitchen setting
- Punctual, reliable, patient, and ready to get started with a grounded and great energy
- Precision and attention to detail, good at multi-tasking and ready to grow further
- Neat, clean, and always respectful with all our team (BOH and FOH)
- The practice of clean-as-you-go and great mise en place
- Ready to grow as a professional, eager to learn and always accountable
- Looking for long-term (over 1-year) employment and lots of growth opportunity
- Ability to work 10-hour shift on your feet
- Ability to lift 50-lbs., bend and climb stairs
- Up to date, Washington Food Handler's Card
We offer to you :
- Tip Share ($8-$12hr)
- We pay 50% medical benefits (you're eligible for after 60 days employment at 20 scheduled hours per week)
- PTO (1 hour accrued for every 30 hours worked)
