Project Manager

Contract : 6 Months (Extension Likely)

Position : Portfolio & Project Manager

Location : Remote

Pay rate : $50-$59 / hr, DOE

Responsibilities :

• Prioritize and manage the DPT product portfolio, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, sales, and support) to ensure successful product development and execution.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, scope progress, and risk registers.
• Monitor and report on project progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.
• Ensure the projects adhere to the company's quality standards, best practices, and methodologies.
• Manage project changes, dependencies, and conflicts.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders.
• Conduct project reviews, lessons learned, and post-mortems

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in software product development.
• Proficient in project management tools, such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Proven experience managing a diverse software product portfolio and driving product strategy.
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to have :

• Certification in project management, such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM, is a plus.
• Knowledge in Client Strategic Portfolio Management is a plus.
