About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Labor and Delivery, Postpartum Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour Nights Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years experience License : Valid RN License Certifications : BLS, NRP, Advanced EFM Must-Have : Experience with electronic medical records systems - PeriGen & Epic Job Description : Attend to labor and delivery, providing compassionate and professional care to mothers and newborns.
- Manage postpartum care, ensuring the well-being of both mothers and infants.- Utilize EMR systems, specifically Epic and PeriGen, for documenting patient care.
- Comply with hospital policies and procedures to ensure a safe and supportive environment.- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Maintain updated certifications and adhere to best practices in labor and delivery nursing.- Provide holiday coverage as required to meet the needs of the unit.
- Adhere to hospital policy regarding proximity rules for travelers.
