Overview :

Our client, a prominent healthcare organization, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing Services to provide leadership and support to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).

This role is crucial in overseeing all nursing and designated patient care functions / services within the hospital. The selected candidate will assist in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice across multiple units.

The role demands 24 / 7 responsibility for the Director’s assigned areas, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and efficient resource management.

Responsibilities :

  • Support the CNO in maintaining high standards of nursing care and patient services.
  • Assist in the assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practices across multiple units.
  • Provide leadership and support to nursing staff, ensuring their competency and professional development.
  • Serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
  • Maintain effective interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating leadership and operational capabilities.
  • Assume 24 / 7 responsibility for assigned areas, ensuring continuous and efficient nursing care.

Qualifications : Education :

Education :

Required : Associate degree from an accredited nursing school with a bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field or a BSN.

Preferred : MSN or master’s in a healthcare-related field.

Experience :

Required : 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse / related position.

Certifications :

Required : Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence / practice. CPR certification.
