Job Overview :
Evaluate HVAC systems, water heaters, fireplaces and other equipment to assess their condition and identify and perform any necessary repairs or preventive maintenance.
Responsibilities :
- Troubleshoot and service all HVAC products on assigned projects and ensure customer satisfaction
- Review diagnostics and use the proper tools to complete repairs
- Perform proper preventative maintenance as needed
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests
- Provide final inspection of systems once repairs are completed to ensure all equipment is operating safely
- Foster good customer relations by explaining the service work performed, providing technical support and making sure they are happy with the job that has been done
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as required to maintain and enhance departmental productivity
Requirements
- 2-4 years of on the job HVAC service experience
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and how to repair / maintain them
- Solid experience with hand and power tools, as well as an overall mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and understand wiring diagram and system literature
- Must be able to work well independently and in a team
- Must be able to be on-call within our on-call rotation
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, in speech and writing with customers and our team
- Valid driver's license required

Pay is dependent on experience and ranges from $25 - $40 / hour.
