Job Description
Commercial Lines Account Manager - Hybrid
The responsibilities of the Account Manager will include :
- Managing existing accounts and renewals for the assigned portfolio of Property & Casualty (P&C) lines of business, such as Professional Liability, Business Owners, Workers Compensation, Employment Practices Liability, etc.
- Cross-selling new and additional products and supporting the New Business team with the development and production of new accounts as needed.
- Continuously reviewing client policies, bills, endorsements, and audits, and educating clients about policy coverage, changes, exclusions, and insurance coverage needs.
- Scheduling and conducting meetings with clients both in person and virtually.
Qualifications :
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent job experience.
- A Property and Casualty insurance license is required for this position.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience with Property and Casualty coverage and markets, along with knowledge of federal and state regulations affecting insurance products.
- Commercial P&C Insurance experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Excel is required, and experience with Applied EPIC is preferred.
