Job Description
- Oversee and manage projects from inception to completion.
- Direct and supervise project administration staff, construction engineers, and collaborate closely with project superintendents to establish operational priorities.
- Forecast, track, and report project costs and revenue, ensuring adherence to project estimates.
- Resolve issues related to labor disputes, staffing, construction materials, equipment, and contracts / subcontracts administration.
- Coordinate with the Construction Safety Manager to uphold safety standards throughout projects.
- Develop strong relationships with Superintendents, Subcontractors, and Assistant Project Managers.
- Maintain thorough documentation throughout projects, including RFI logs and change orders.
Ideal Candidate
- 7 + years of experience in Construction Project Management.
- Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management preferred.
- Proficiency in skilled trades such as carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical.
- Strong grasp of construction technology and ability to interpret specifications and drawings.
- Excellent communication skills with management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
