Are you enthusiastic about nurturing children's growth and development? We're seeking a passionate School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Franklin Park, Illinois.
In this enriching role, you'll work with students from PreK to 3rd grade, pivotal in guiding their communication and language journey.
Job Activities :
- Conducting Evaluations : Utilize your expertise to conduct comprehensive evaluations, pinpointing communication challenges and crafting personalized intervention plans.
- Direct Counseling : Provide direct counseling and therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, to bolster their communication skills.
- Participating on the District Level Problem Solving Team : Collaborate with fellow professionals on the district-level Problem Solving team to address student needs and devise effective strategies for success.
- Crisis Response : Be prepared to offer crisis response services as required, ensuring the safety and well-being of our students during challenging situations.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Illinois state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
