As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities include monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This post requires both armed and driving responsibilities. Pay Rate : $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 03 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 PM

Tue 03 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 PM

Wed 03 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 PM

Thur 03 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the government facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas in accordance with established protocols.
  • Report and document any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or emergencies encountered during patrols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and / or emergency responders as needed.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors at the location.

  • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must possess an armed guard card or license as required by state and / or local regulations.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
