Job Description
In the field engineer role you will perform and verify layout of construction projects including inspecting construction activities for quality and compliance;
establishing building control vertically and horizontally, establishing and verifying elevations, verifying correct installations for embeds, anchor bolts etc.
in concrete structures, and providing grades for formwork, concrete, and rebar placement.
This position supervises the work of others including construction workers and trade contractor employees.

The Successful Applicant
- Four-year degree in construction, engineering or related field or equivalent combination of technical training and / or related experience
- Ability to handle multiple personnel and technical issues simultaneously on an ongoing basis
- Knowledge of construction (technology, equipment, methods) and safety
- Good leadership skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and planning skills
- Computer skills including MS Office, Email, PDF
- Ability to meet or beat project schedules
- Ability to effectively control and supervise large groups
