Position Overview
Our company is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee federal construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, from planning and budgeting to scheduling and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed within the designated budget and timeframe
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure project goals are met
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary
- Manage multiple crews and subcontractors, ensuring quality assurance and safety compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and standards, including OSHA 30, CPR, EM 385, USACE, and NAVFAC
- Review plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Coordinate with project superintendents and Quality Control Managers (CQCM) to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects
- Maintain knowledge of military-specific requirements and guidelines, including those for BASE, JBLE, Langley, and GSA projects
- Take projects from RFP through the bid process, buy it out if awarded, and run it to completion.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-years of relevant Project Management experience in the Federal (ex. USACE / NAVFAC / GSA) construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, procedures, and techniques
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field
- OSHA 30 certification and CPR certification
- EM 385 certification preferred
- Military experience a plus
