GENERAL SUMMARY : Delphinus Engineering, Inc. is looking for full-time qualified Engineers to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia or Norfolk VA.

Candidate may travel onboard Naval Ships and / or provide hands on support to install team located at the Land Based Engineering Site (LBES) in Philadelphia.

Will assist with implementation and troubleshooting of computer hardware and / or software. Will interface with Ship's force as needed to troubleshoot problems that may be caused by hardware and / or software malfunctions / updates.

Position Requirements

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS :

1 years of professional experience in systems engineering. Possess at least one (1) year of experience in the analysis of machinery failure behavior, fault isolation, and correction.

Bachelor's level degree in an Engineering discipline.

Secret Security Clearance

Ability to travel 25% +

Ability to read and use Electrical engineering schematics and ship Blueprints to verify correct installation of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Ethernet cable, CAT - 5 and power cables.

Ability to troubleshoot and repair computer hardware and identify software failures.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS (PREFERRED) :

Familiarity using DMMs and Oscilloscopes for electrical signal troubleshooting

Familiarity with WireShark, Ethernet communications troubleshooting, and packet analysis.

Familiarity with Operating systems : Windows, VxWorks

Ability to work in Groups or Independently as required
