Job purpose
This position is responsible for the security of Idahoan’s manufacturing environment and ensures the appropriate security policies, practices, and tools are implemented and enforced.
A combination of security system design and implementation work is required including reviewing and updating security policies, making recommendations on new products or enhancements to current products and protocols, and screening security systems to ensure their efficacy.
This position will also evaluate and respond to security alerts and incidents throughout the plants.
Main Responsibilities
- Planning, engineering, and monitoring the security systems and policies for the protection of all digital assets throughout the manufacturing plants.
- Develop best practices and security standards for the manufacturing plants
- Partner with the engineering department to prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols
- Track OT / ICS vulnerabilities, report on possible threats and create a roadmap to resolution
- Identify and respond to threats throughout the OT environment.
- Working with Infrastructure team configuring and implementing IDS and firewalls
- Managing vulnerability scanners, including remediation plans, and tracking accepted risks
- Using industry-standard analysis criteria to test the security level of the firm
- Implementing regulatory systems in accordance with IT security
- Modifying the technical, legal, and regulatory aspects of the system security
- Defining and maintaining security policies
- Assist fellow employees with cybersecurity, software, hardware or other IT needs
- End user security training and awareness
- Participate in the IT on-call rotation
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Required Skills
Education and / or Experience
- Minimum 3 years in a security engineer role in OT / ICS environments
- Bachelor's in computer science, cybersecurity, or related technology related fields
- Certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, CEH or CISM desired
- Hands on experience OT / ICS security solutions such as Claroty, Defender for IoT, Dragos
- Experience in auditing environments and bringing up to security standards such as NIST 800-82r3
- Experience in creating and maintaining security systems, writing policies, and implementing them
- Knowledge of computer forensic tools, data loss prevention methods, and disaster recovery methods
- Experience in LAN and WAN technologies, network design, network management etc.
- Strong understanding of TCP / IP, subnetting, routing, access control lists, firewalls, VPN, NAT and network traffic analysis.
- Thorough understanding of the latest technologies, security principles, and protocols
- Ability to communicate and report network security incidents and issues to the upper management.

Ability to work as a team player, flexible and accepts changing assignments and accountabilities.
