Job Title : Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
Location : fort walton beach , FL
Job Type : Full Time
Responsibilities :
- Deliver comprehensive patient care, monitoring vital signs, and responding to life-threatening situations in a high-acuity setting.
- Administer medications, including vasopressors, sedatives, and analgesics, according to protocols and physician orders.
- Assist with cardiovascular procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and open-heart surgeries.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding treatments and recovery processes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, progress notes, and treatment plans.
Minimum Qualifications :
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required
1 year of Acute Care RN experience
BLS required
ACLS required within 6 months of hire
BSN is preferred
CCRN a plus but must be obtained within 2 years. NIHSS stroke certification required within 30 days .
