We are offering an employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in West Palm Beach, Florida. This role is within the accounting industry where you will be handling various financial and accounting tasks.

You will be working in an office environment, providing critical support in maintaining financial records and processing transactions.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
  • Ensure the maintenance of precise customer credit records
  • Manage customer inquiries and resolve them effectively
  • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when required
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks
  • Conduct data entry and prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
  • Oversee the receipt of deposits and log daily deposits to ensure accuracy
  • Prepare routine entries and reconcile entries and internal ledgers to financial reporting system reports
  • Maintain spreadsheets and utilize applications such as Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and Great Plains (GPAC) for various tasks
  • Carry out invoicing and invoice processing tasks.
  • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing
  • Strong skills in Data Entry and Invoice Processing
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks software
  • Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) software
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
  • Previous experience in an Accounting Clerk role is desirable.
