Job Summary and Qualifications

Our Registered Nurses raise the bar byproviding clinical expertise and the highest quality care in themost compassionate way.

As part of our fast-paced AMB Prep andRecover department, PACU RNs care for patients following a surgicaloperation or other invasive procedure.

We are an amazing team thatworks hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenaladdition like you, who feels patient care is as meaningful as wedo.

What you will doin this role :

Youwill perform a comprehensive nursing assessment of the post-oppatient and closely monitor vital signs and levels of consciousnessas the patient recovers from the effects of anesthesia.

You will proactively observe and act accordinglyto treat pain, nausea, and other patient post-op symptoms and anyside effects of anesthesia.

You will performpost-op tasks such as changing bandages and administeringmedications.

You will provide education andemotional support appropriate to age, culture, condition, andcircumstance and incorporate patient / family teaching into allaspects of nursingpractice.

WhatQualifications You WillNeed :

Graduationfrom an accredited school of nursing

Currentstate of Missouri RN licensure required.

Excellent oral / written communication,interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills required.

BLS and ACLS certification required andmaintained.

Prior medical-surgical experiencepreferred.
