As a key member of the DGDG Executive Management Team, the Chief Financial Officer will spearhead all financial operations for the group.

This role is crucial in driving the financial strategies of DGDG and its stores to enhance overall company performance. The CFO will lead a dynamic team responsible for store accounting, delivering comprehensive and timely financial reports to internal stakeholders and strategic partners, and nurturing robust banking relationships.

Additionally, the CFO will provide insightful financial guidance across all organizational levels, empowering informed decision-making and continuous performance improvement.

What you’ll be working on :

  • Oversee the financial and accounting operations for multiple franchise dealership operations.
  • Manage appropriate accounting processes and associated checks and balances to ensure accounting information is accurate and correctly reflects financial position of all dealership entities.
  • Oversee preparation of monthly financial statements. Analyze and review monthly results against budget with management team and assist in development of actionable items to correct and enhance dealership profitability.
  • Produce Finance Reporting Packages for banking partners and manage banking relationships and syndication strategies.
  • Forecast financial goals for each quarter and annually to maintain the dealership’s profitability and oversee financial growth strategies.
  • Analyze and develop reports to assist dealership operations to reach budget and profitability goals.
  • Plan and assist year-end review of accounting records by outside accounting firm for the preparation of annual financial report and provide information for tax return preparation.
  • Assist modeling M&A opportunities.
  • Work supporting the Director of Financial Analysis.

What you need to bring to the table :

  • Experience working in the automotive retail industry.
  • Ten (10) or more years’ progressive experience in Finance or Accounting with multiple locations and a demonstrated understanding of end-to-end finance within a retail company of a significant size.
  • Excellent analytical, technical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Must possess good interpersonal / relationship skills, including the ability to partner with, lead, persuade, motivate, and influence others.
  • Proven experience leading and developing a solid finance team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present business, financial and operational analysis, and results.
  • Solid knowledge base of financial / reporting rules / regulations, financial systems, and procedures.
  • Strong ability to make sound, fact-based decisions.
  • Team-oriented, with proven ability to work cross-functionally.
  • BS / BA Degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant business field from an accredited college or university is highly preferred.

Salary : $200K-$800K / annually

Pay is based on applicable experience and skills.
