Lab Technician
Job Description
Join our team as an Analytical Services Laboratory Technician, responsible for performing quality control checks of customer samples to ensure FDA approved levels in meat products.
This role is critical in supporting our R&D by conducting analytical tests as requested. Our recently established lab within the Antioxidative Lab Group is experiencing rapid increase in workload due to delayed instruments and lab completion caused by the global pandemic.
We are seeking additional team members who can perform Hexanal analysis, peroxide value and oxidative stability assessments, along with weighing, pipetting, and titrations.
Responsibilities :
- Perform Hexanal analysis, peroxide value, and oxidative stability tests on customer samples.
- Conduct weighing, pipetting, and titrations accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the Antioxidative Lab Group to maintain high-quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and solve analytical problems promptly.
- Adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume lab environment.
- Take initiative in method development and optimization.
- Learn quickly and stay flexible in response to changing priorities.
- Ensure timely turnaround of results.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
- Experience with analytical techniques (., HPLC, GC, titrations).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Comfortable working in a repetitive environment
