JOB TITLE : Maintenance Technician

DEPARTMENT : Operations

REPORTS TO : Director, Stadium Operations

FLSA : Part-time, non-exempt

SUMMARY :

The Maintenance Technician shall maintain and repair of all facility related structures and systems to assure the facility, systems and equipment are operating efficiently and in good condition.

These areas include, structural systems, roofs, floors, walls, doors, windows, furniture, fixtures, stadium seating, equipment, elevators, life safety, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, domestic water, sewer, waste and recycling material management equipment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

• The Maintenance Technician will work with the Facilities Operation Manager to implement routine maintenance procedures and respond to maintenance issues in a timely manner using a computerized maintenance management system.
• The Maintenance Technician will work in a safe manner and report any potential hazards to the Facilities Operations Manager.
• The Maintenance Technician will manage the shops area in an orderly fashion while maintaining the tools and repair parts inventory.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Be available to report as needed to ensure that the facility operates as needed for all events which will includes nights, weekends with long irregular hours as required to respond to emergency situations in a timely manner.
• Have a strong working knowledge of the major facility systems and computerized maintenance management control systems.
• Possess excellent communications skills to discuss the technical issues needed to maintain the facility operating systems.
• Be a high school graduate with 10 year’s experience in general facility maintenance. Additional trade school or junior college education is a plus.

Physical Effort

This position will require talking, listening, standing, and physical activity for long periods of time.

Out-of-Office Responsibilities

Must be able to work evenings, weekends, events, and holidays as required. This position will require flexibility of work schedule.

Travel includes occasionally driving a motor vehicle, a valid driver’s license with insurance is required.
