Position Overview : We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join a special education setting team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the social and emotional needs of students, collaborating with educators, parents, and community resources to ensure the well-being and academic success of all students.
Requirements :
- State licensure and certifications (please list exactly what is needed)
- At least one year of experience in a relevant field is preferred
Responsibilities :
- Provide direct counseling services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and student needs
- Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external agencies to support student success
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records
