Job Details
We are in search of an Accounting Manager for our Knoxville, TN office. Although we operate in a hybrid environment, this person must be located in, or planning to relocate to Knoxville on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Assistant Controller and working closely with all members of the Finance and Accounting Team.
What You'll Do :
- Oversee all aspects of the general ledger and general ledger team with 3-5 direct reports
- Perform month-end close and reporting for the Parent company
- Oversee travel and expense management through our virtual card applications
- Prepare expense allocations across the portfolio entities
- Ensure Company compliance with ASC 842 Leases
- Adjust and reconcile inter-company balance sheet accounts
- Assist with cash reporting, forecasting, and management of bank accounts
- Assist with tax requests and projects
- Assist with preparation of audit support and requests by management
- Assist with complex accounting transactions, including technical accounting changes and mergers and acquisitions
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement where feasible
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of progressive experience with a focus on SaaS preferred
- Previous management experience preferred
- Strong GAAP knowledge and proficiency
- Experience with Intacct and / or SalesForce is a plus
- Exceptional data analysis and a high proficiency in Excel required
- Strong analytical and business skills including the ability to grasp the big picture
- Must work well under pressure, be able to interact in a team environment, be able to adapt quickly to change, have a deep attention to detail and strong customer service skills.
- Capable of working independently and managing multiple projects at the same time with a commitment to timely delivery in a fast-paced team environment for a high growth company.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
