Location : Twin Cities

Our client is looking for an experienced and resourceful Purchasing Specialist to join their Supply Chain team.

This full-time role is responsible for managing purchase orders, negotiating contracts, and handling procurement duties. The day-to-day tasks include maintaining vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials based on our manufacturing schedule and providing a high standard of customer service, internally and externally.

• Manage raw material ordering to ensure adequate supply for the manufacturing schedule with consideration for safety stocks, lead-times, space, and maximum inventory levels.
• Interface with suppliers on matters related to material purchasing, such as providing forecasts, expediting orders, and resolving receipt discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Production Scheduler to ensure material availability for manufacturing operations in a fast-changing environment.
• Work with the sales, product, and manufacturing teams, ensuring that all inventory is available for new product launches.

Base pay in only one component of our clients’ total rewards offering. Their comprehensive benefits are designed to support health, financial wellness, and work / life balance. While this role does require onsite presence, there is flexibility in schedules and the opportunity to work virtually one day a week.

Actual compensation will consider a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate within a salary range of $65k-85k annually.
