Position Overview

UNC Health Pardee is seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for their high-performing surgical team. This is an Auto Offer Unit , making it an excellent opportunity for experienced techs looking for a smooth placement process.

You’ll work in a fast-paced surgical environment assisting with a variety of procedures, ensuring safety, precision, and collaboration throughout every case.

Unit Details

  • Operating Rooms : 10
  • Float Requirement : None
  • On Call / Call Back :

    • Weekend Call : Saturday 7a – Monday 7a (approx. every 6–8 weeks)

  • Weeknight Call : One night per week (7p–7a)
  • Holiday Call : One 24-hour holiday call per contract (recognized holidays : New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas)
  • Staff Meeting : 4th week of every month
  • Scrubs : Provided by facility

    • Required Experience & Certifications

  • Certifications :

    • CST (NBSTSA)

  • AHA BLS
  • Experience (Hard Stops) :

    • General Surgery, Robotics (DaVinci), Ortho, Endo, Urology, C-Sections, Cataract / Retina

  • Must have experience with Cataracts / Retinas, Vascular (Thrombectomy), and C-Sections
  • Other Cases Include : Bariatrics, OBGYN, ENT, and Vascular
  • Minimum Experience : 3+ years as CST & at least 1 completed travel assignment (2 preferred)
