About the Team
The Global Business Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Manager to support B2B marketing for the US market, partnering closely with the US Business Marketing Leads to plan, execute, and report / optimize efforts like content messaging, events, campaigns, and scaled resources.
This role will partner closely with sales, product solutions, global marketing, integrated marcoms, studio and other cross-functional stakeholders in driving adoption of TikTok's advertising solutions through development and execution of marketing programs in the US region.
This is role will directly report to the Business Marketing Lead (Enterprise or Commerce) and support the US business. The ideal candidate is a versatile marketer with a strategic mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and experience developing and managing marketing programs across channels.
They have an understanding of TikTok's value to the industry as a full funnel, performance, creative and commerce solution.
They are excellent at stakeholder communication, an experienced influential partner and can seek out and act quickly on opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Support Lead on key marketing activation workstreams, and own select projects (including but not limited to Vertical solutions) :
- Strategy
- Support Leads in annual and midyear marketing planning and budgeting, as relevant to tailored / vertical solutions impact on business.
- Lead briefing against the strategy, defining clear KPI's and target audiences, and support building out activation plans (with key stakeholders) and ensuring execution delivers against the business objectives and marketing strategy.
- Stakeholder Management and Relationship Building
- Create productive working relationships with sales, including Industry Strategy (IS), to understand business priorities and ensure quality of delivery of vertical sales enablement, from GBM-GMS to GBS.
- Collaborate within Global Business Marketing to gain alignment on messaging (with marketing solutions), product opportunities (PSO via GMS), events and design needs (studio), external content campaign (via IMC), measurement (ops), and with other non-GBM XFN partners.
- Execution of Select Marketing Activations
- Day-to-day management and oversight of vertical solutions workstreams, including developing and optimizing on new ways of working across sales enablement and vertical activations.
- Support for tentpole marketing activations, including industry events, sponsored content, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
- Business impact : ensure we are delivering on marketing and business needs, and tracking / communicating learnings back to the larger organization.
- Oversee strategy, creation and delivery of Case Studies in support of business impact stories and to deliver leadership needed in-market, liasing with GBM-IMC and other XFNs to activate.
- In collaboration with the Business Marketing Lead, maintain systems of cross-team project tracking, measurement needs, and general housekeeping.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing or advertising industry, with skillsets in marketing, project management, strategy, or related role.
- Portfolio of relevant work demonstrating success in the B2B or advertising / adtech space.
- Deep understanding of business marketing, industry marketing, and / or vertical sales / sales marketing.
- Strong grasp and keen passion for marketing, technology and culture, and an understanding of the social media and commerce space.
- Strong communication skills, including writing (i.e. building compelling and clear narratives or content) and stakeholder and executive management.
- Proven track record of navigating cross-functional teams and matrixed org structure to achieve goals.
- Highly collaborative, team player, strong influencer and relationship builder.
- Self starter who can solve problems and build new solutions for impact.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in project management, event strategy, marketing measurement / analytics and / or social / digital advertising planning.
- Experience with marketing within or to specific industries : CPG, Retail, e-Commerce, Media Agency or Media & Entertainment, Travel, Finserv.
- A holistic, 360 connective thinker.
