Position Overview : We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our client's team as an Accounting Assistant.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for accuracy.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with our accounting team and gain valuable experience in various aspects of financial management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling statements.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Collaborate with team members to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and filing documents.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
