Summary of Job Duties :

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for answering incoming calls and providing quality customer service to UA Little Rock students, prospective students, and parents in a professional manner.

This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency / institution policy.

Qualifications :

Required Education and / or Experience :

The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma, plus one (1) year of specialized training in business management, business education, or a related field.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• Answer phone calls through the main phone line in the office;
• Assist callers with general questions and concerns about financial aid;
• Transfer student phone calls to the Financial Aid Advisor who is on duty;
• Take detailed phone messages through a computerized phone database system;
• Respond to emails from students;
• Complete data entry of financial aid documentation;
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of student record processing;
• Provide exceptional customer service to students, prospective students, and parents;

Perform other duties as assigned.
