Job Description :
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nocturnist to join our team in the Pittsburgh suburbs for a temporary position during the holiday season.
This position is a part-time locum tenens opportunity requiring night shifts from December 23, 2024, to January 3, 2025 .
The selected provider will be responsible for working 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. shifts, assisting an APP with admissions and discharges of hospitalized patients.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment, with no trauma cases, a closed ICU, and an intensivist in-house 24 / 7.
Key Details :
- Shift Schedule : 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. (Holiday coverage only)
- Dates : December 23, 2024, to January 3, 2025
- Patient Volume : 16-20 patients per day (rounding), 8-10 admissions per shift
- ICU Beds : 20-30 (No procedures required)
- Sub-Specialty Support : Available for all specialties
- EMR : Sunrise
- Privileges : Emergency privileges available within 30 days
- No call required
Requirements :
- Board Certified : DO or MD
- Licensure : Active Pennsylvania state medical license
- Certifications : ACLS, BLS, CPR
- Experience : Minimum of 4 years of hospitalist experience
- DEA License : Required
