Position Summary :
The Logistics Coordinator will assist the Logistics Manager in the daily management of material and service control, ensuring the successful execution of contracts from the point of origin to the point of destination.
This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills who can effectively support logistics operations while providing reliable customer service to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Prepare and issue shipping instructions to suppliers and warehouse facilities.
- Contract with transportation providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Review shipping and logistics documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Track shipments and expedite delivery to ensure timely arrivals.
- Enter logistics data and transaction information into the ERP system.
- Maintain consistent communication with warehouses, carriers, and customers regarding delivery status.
- Assist with weekly inventory reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with sales, purchasing, accounting, suppliers, and customers to coordinate logistics processes.
Qualifications :
- 2-4 years of experience in transportation, logistics, and / or customer service.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and / or Apple Pages and Numbers.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
