Overview Senior Group Sales Manager The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Senior Group Sales Manager to join the only double Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas.

The Senior Group Sales Manager will be responsible for generating and managing sales for group bookings. Responsibilities Responsible for establishing and building relationships as it relates to group rooms segment with corporate, association and incentive accounts.

Negotiate, prepare, detail proposals and execute contracts utilizing all available collateral and tools in accordance with sales policies and guidelines.

Lead and implement a strategic and comprehensive SMART Plan to achieve group and individual revenue goals for a luxury hotel product.

Analyze and conduct market research to fully understand competitive set, market conditions and current business trends Effectively organize and participate in client entertainment / FAM’s, special promotions, tours, site inspections and presentations.

Prospect new business utilizing various sales methods, including phone calls, in-person sales calls, attending industry events, and online meetings.

Participate in all managers and sales events meetings Effectively communicate all client requirements in detail to the hotel’s planning team.

Qualifications Aspire to our Be FAIR ideals : Be Friendly, Accommodating, Inclusive and Respectful. Four- year college diploma preferred Must have 3-5 years of luxury hotel sales experience.

Forbes experience preferred Knowledge of Microsoft office including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint is vital, exposure / ability with Delphi and other hotel related databases and tools preferred.

Ability to work flexible schedules, including extended hours. Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
