Production Plant Superintendent For Second Shift

Piston Automotive is seeking a Production Plant Superintendent for Second Shift. 5 : 30PM - 2 : 30AM. The Production Plant Superintendent manages all activities related to operations and development of company products by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors on the PM shift. This position will be a key member of the Plant Leadership Team with an integral role in developing and continuously improving the culture.

Responsibilities

• Continuous improvement activity initiation and involvement.
• Coordinates manufacturing activities with all other functions and suppliers to obtain optimum production and utilization of manpower and machines / equipment on the designated shift.
• Supports verification of production schedule, reviewing of performance meters, communication with team (next level FLL).
• Supports new product launch, manning and training requirements; change management.
• Supports maintaining operations departmental budgets (maintenance, production, materials, etc. as appropriate).
• Effective utilization of collective resources in manufacturing (i.e. materials, quality, maintenance, HR, corporate function).
