SUMMARY :
- Establish and maintain relationships with Architects, Designers and National Accounts with the goal of securing project specifications for TOTO
- Sources, initiates and maintains sales and marketing efforts for large national accounts such as hotel chains, fast food, residential / commercial developers etc.
in accordance to sales goals. Assists the Director in leading the business development team when needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Initiate, develop and maintain sales activities with the A&D community
- Sources and develop sales programs with large national accounts.
- Prepare and schedule sales calls and presentations to introduce the company, its products and product capabilities.
- Follow up on sales calls, quotes and proposals; negotiate terms and secure project specifications.
- Develop, track and actively grow specifications across market segments, continually building a pipeline of new projects.
- Investigates and mitigates customer complaints to satisfactory conclusion between customer and company.
- Support each Regional Sales Team as needed.
- Coordinate with the Regional Sales Team when National Accounts affect their territory.
- Communicate effectively to clients.
- Maintain up-to-date information concerning sales prices, availability of product, production schedules, profit contribution, sales policies, sales trends, and status of current orders to meet marketing objectives and assure the company satisfies customer requirements to the greatest practical extent.
- Prepare necessary sales reports (weekly) and expense reports on a timely basis.
- Maintain memberships and participation in association and affiliated industry groups.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- B.B.A. in Sales, Marketing or related field, plus five (5) years of industry experience.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are a must.
- Must also have excellent presentation skills. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
