  • Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (18 : 45 - 07 : 15)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Patient Ratio : 1 : 6\n
  • Unit : Medical Telemetry 4 South\n
  • Orientation : 24 hours\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1650-$1770\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Tennessee or compact state\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg Telemetry nursing experience\n
  • 1 year of experience with Epic EMR required\n
  • Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS\n
  • Experience with ER holding and telemetry monitoring\n
  • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)\n
  • Ability to float to other medical / surgical units as needed\n
  • Preferred : Community hospital experience\n

    • \n\nMed / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients with higher oxygen demands, dialysis needs, atrial fibrillation, and post-cardiac procedures\n
  • Monitor and manage cardiac drips (heparin, cardizem, amiodarone), initiate sotalol, and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias\n
  • Perform blood product administration, central line care, chest tube management, and wound care\n
  • Utilize Epic EMR for accurate documentation and patient management\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, and rapid response\n
  • Float to other qualified med / surg units as needed to support patient care\n
  • Complete pre-assignment testing and required modules prior to start\n
