Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an adult home health assignment requiring at least 3 years of home health experience and prior travel assignments.

Responsibilities Work in adult home health within the home health and hospice setting

Typical caseload of 5-6 adult clients per day

Day shift, 8-hour shifts, with weekend rotations

Assignment length is 20 weeks

No block schedules are permitted for any reason

Candidates must be comfortable navigating multiple EMR systems

Cannot accommodate 10-hour shifts

Role involves independent client visits and managing a daily caseload

Candidates must be flexible with holiday scheduling

Bi-weekly orientation sessions begin on Mondays

Weekend rotations are required

No public transportation is available in the area

Complete work history is required for consideration, including bed count, EMR, and facility type

All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained

This position is not open to candidates seeking block schedules

Careful documentation of religious or medical exemption requests may be required

Requirements Licensed Physical Therapist, license required if applicable

Minimum of 3 years recent home health clinical experience required

At least 2 prior travel assignments required

Strong clinical and patient assessment skills required

Fluency with various EMR systems required

Candidates must have a personal or rental vehicle as public transportation is not accessible

Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November to April
