Our client, a respected accounting firm, is seeking a skilled Staff Tax Accountant to join their growing team. This position is ideal for candidates who have completed their CPA certification or have substantial experience in tax accounting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
- Conduct tax research and provide recommendations on tax planning strategies
- Assist in managing client relationships and addressing tax-related inquiries
- Mentor junior team members and review their work
- Participate in tax audits and represent clients before tax authorities
- Stay current with tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification required
- 2-4 years of experience in tax accounting
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Superior communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with data analysis tools a plus
